Nrityalok
Dance is an expression. The art form touches everyone’s heart. We recognize the significance of this art form in channelizing students’ energy. The club is ambitious in nurturing and promoting the NaatyaShastra and its principles. The two Dance artists in the school strive towards imparting the ancient knowledge of dance as a science. They focus on all dance forms around the world to promote internationalism. The club trains children in all 8 Indian dance forms along with Bollywood, Western, etc. The integration of dance into academics is a noteworthy contribution of the club. Students will be trained to demonstrate exceptional commitment towards exhibiting their inner skills, and also to develop a multi-faceted physicality through training in various dance techniques.
Swarasangama
The club aims to nurture the talents of every child and provide a conducive environment for mutual learning. We believe that each individual has something to offer through mentorships jams, competitions, and events. We strive to polish skills, share knowledge, and spread musical joy. Music is the greatest gift of god, it refreshes our minds and body. It is the peace of life which refreshes each soul.
Rangamancha
This performing art includes Mad Ads, Puppet Shows & Mime Shows. The objectives serve the purpose of To provide students to demonstrate and understand the theatrical basis of Art forms; applying appropriate terminology to show aesthetic and critical awareness; seeking out new innovative methods of performing arts as well as retaining traditional practices; demonstrating proficiency in oral communication and to acquire and develop other dramaturgical skills. To enable students to develop interpersonal skills such as confidence, social interaction, responsibility sharing, planning, decision making, teamwork, and problem sharing. To learn the importance of responsibility to their community. Value of time, precision, and competitiveness are the major learning points apart from communication, coordination, and teamwork.
Chitrakuteera
The club is organized to enhance the art offerings in the classroom and give further opportunities for the child to develop his artistic skills to the fullest which aims to produce and appreciate pieces of art. To become aware of the beauty of God’s creation around us; explore and experiment with this beauty for their artwork. To develop a deep and lasting enjoyment of art that carry over into adult life and exerts a positive influence on Indian culture.
Anvesha
Objectives: To inculcate scientific temper among the students by providing proper inspiration for the pursuit of scientific knowledge by broadening their scientific outlook and helping discover the hidden talents in the students. To encourage individual and group activity; providing challenging opportunities to the gifted students by developing habits of exploration and creative faculties. To develop among the students the spirit of the attitude of healthy competition for individual and social causes. To ensure prospects for bringing school closer to society and accustom the society with services and aid of science in their lives.
Biosphere
The main objective of Biospheres is to explore the physical realm of our environment through experiments and establish evidence. To bring about awareness amongst children concerning ecological preservation and local environmental issues and instill ‘clean and green consciousnesses among students through various inventive methods. To promote Eco-club students to take part in open-orientation programs at school and other public spaces. To preserve diversity and amalgamation of animals, plants, and micro-organisms; also to promote research on ecological conservancy and other environmental aspects. To sensitize the students to minimize the usage of plastic bags, discourage them from discarding the plastic bags in public places as they choke drainage and sewers and cause waterlogging.
Sports Club
The club is committed to providing healthy sporting habits among the students. It helps to instill the spirit of teamwork, and synchronization among different cultural and ethnic groups. It mainly inculcates discipline and moral values in an individual.
Words Worth
The aim of this club is to indoctrinate adoration among the students for various languages such as Sanskrit, Kannada, Hindi, and English along with heightening the literary skills in the respective languages. The club provides a platform for Debating, Quizzes, picking and speaking, and Essay Writing. To embolden students to transform into skilled orators, display their intellectual and liberal thinking skills, and imbibe a sense of confidence.
Bharat Scouts & Guides
To create and foster a spirit of selfless service and empathy amongst the students to promote the principles of good governance and good citizenship. To create interest to actively take part in the civic, cultural, social, and moral welfare of the community. These activities aim to offer a chance for students to contribute to society, learning to have a positive attitude towards the life. Also, through these activities, we want to help the people who need help. We hope our members join these activities eagerly, as The More We Offer, The More We Receive.
NCC and NSS
NCC and NSS have been introduced for students to develop character, discipline, and Comradeship, build a secular outlook, spirit of adventure, and ideals of selfless service. NCC and NSS intend to organize, train and motivate students with leadership qualities, take part in government-led community service, and expose them to life in defense. Also, NCC provides an environment to motivate students to take up a career in defense with NCC’s special entry scheme into defense forces.
Design lab (Creative crew)
The newest club to be incorporated in the illustrious list of hardworking clubs intended in nurturing various aspects of the student experience. This club works in the field of cinematography, editing audio and video. The members of the club work closely with other clubs to produce great digital content which is posted on social media.
Photography Club
Photography Club: The club promotes the art of photography. The school photography team not only ensures that the events and the joyous faces of the campus residents are captured day in and day out but also trains its members in making them better through editing tools. The various posts that you see on our social media handles are because of the work behind screens by the members of this club. The Club significantly contributes to art integration in academics.
Entrepreneurship Cell and Ideas Lab
To nurture ideas from a young age is important as the motive of education must not be to produce job seekers but to produce innovators and risk-takers. We want our young minds to go out there and build businesses of the future. A small step in that direction is this club. The club holds meaningful conversations, debates, toast ideas, etc. The club organizes TED talks and Toastmasters conversations to foster enterprising ideas and inspire students to create in industries in the future.
Heritage Club
The idea of setting up the Heritage Club in our school was to provide training and resources to teachers and students of Indian heritage. It was done with the intention of creating awareness and promoting active participation in heritage-related activities. Every student who becomes a member of the heritage club is motivated to participate in heritage conservation and to learn more about their local and natural heritage. Students are encouraged to record information about the natural and cultural heritage of their town and city and expand this knowledge to further their understanding of this country and its rich cultural heritage. Club also works in direction of linking the ancient economy to its heritage and traditions of the time.
