Our story
Founded in 1997 as a philanthropic project marking the sixtieth birthday of Sri Shamanur Shivashankarappa. Today a CBSE school, a Cambridge school and a PU College on one campus of 45 acres at Shivagangotri, Tolahunse, next to Davangere University.

About Bapuji Educational Association (BEA)
Established in 1958, the Bapuji Educational Association created an atmosphere of academic excellence in Davanagere, the “Knowledge City of Karnataka.” Visionary legends transformed this city into a reputed educational hub.
With 57 reputed institutions including Medical, Dental, and Engineering colleges, the Association stands as a testimony to dedicated efforts. For decades, it has been guided by the towering figure of Dr. Shamanur Shivashankarappa.
You may see 1958 given as PSSEMR’s founding year on some directory websites. That is the Association’s year, not the school’s. PSSEMR was founded in 1997.

Smt. Parvathamma Shamanur Shivashankarappa English Medium Residential School & Pre University College is a philanthropic vision transformed into reality on the 60th birthday of Sri. Shamanur Shivashankarappa.
