While the CBSE Cluster VIII South Zone (SZ) II Athletics Meet at PSSEMR School Davangere was primarily a celebration of athletic excellence, it was also a vibrant showcase of cultural diversity. On the 28th and 29th of September 2024, the school’s main stage came alive with music, dance, and creative performances that enthralled both participants and the audience. Athletes, students, and teachers came together to express their artistic talents, creating an environment where the boundaries of sport and art seamlessly intertwined.

The cultural programs allowed athletes to step beyond the field, showcasing a wide range of creative expressions that highlighted the harmony between physical prowess and artistic spirit.

A Musical Journey: The Carnatic Adda

One of the key highlights of the cultural festivities was an enchanting Carnatic classical concert performed by The Carnatic Adda, a talented group of students from Shankara Academy of Fine Arts. Under the tutelage of Vidwan Abhishek N S from Bengaluru, the performers transported the audience into the world of traditional South Indian classical music. The concert was a masterful blend of ancient ragas and modern interpretations, and the performers’ skill and dedication left a lasting impact on all who attended.
