Among these was a spectacular Kuchipudi performance by the acclaimed Nrityachudamani Smt. Vyjayanthi Kashi and her disciples, sponsored by SPICMACAY. The event, which took place on the evening of 28th September 2024, was a celebration of the rich heritage of Indian classical dance, bringing a perfect blend of artistic grace to the athletic fervor of the meet.

Smt. Vyjayanthi Kashi is one of the foremost exponents of the Kuchipudi dance form. Trained under legendary gurus Dr. Vempati Chinna Satyam and Vedantam Raghavayya, her illustrious career has spanned decades, earning her acclaim on both national and international stages. Her dance is renowned for its precision, elegance, and emotional depth, qualities that have made her an inspirational figure in the world of classical dance.

As a recipient of prestigious awards such as the Padma Shri, Sangeet Natak Akademi Award, and Kalaimamani Award, Vyjayanthi Kashi has left an indelible mark on the world of Indian classical dance. The performance progressed with Aadi Deva Shiva Shankara, a powerful krithi dedicated to Lord Shiva. The dancers depicted the strength and divinity of the deity through energetic and expressive movements, symbolizing the cosmic power and spiritual essence of Lord Shiva.

Another highlight was the portrayal of Lord Krishna in Neela Megha Shareera, a depiction of his divine form and enchanting personality.
