The Inter-House Long Jump Competition for Nursery, LKG, and UKG students was conducted with great enthusiasm as part of the CBSE Inter-House Sports Competition 2026–27. The event aimed to develop physical fitness, coordination, balance, confidence, and competitive spirit among the young learners. Students representing Gandhi, Tagore, Vinobha, and Raman Houses participated wholeheartedly and displayed remarkable determination and sportsmanship.

The competition provided an excellent opportunity for children to showcase their jumping ability, strength, and athletic skills. Every participant gave their best effort, making the event exciting and memorable.

HOUSE-WISE ANALYSIS

GANDHI HOUSE

Gandhi House achieved the Boys Championship through Siddharth S, who produced the best jump of the competition with an outstanding distance of 1.19 metres. Bhavatharini also secured Fourth Position in the Girls category, contributing to the house's overall success. The participants displayed determination, confidence, and excellent sportsmanship throughout the competition.

TAGORE HOUSE

Tagore House secured Second Position in the Boys category through Aditya, who delivered an impressive jump of 0.91 metres. The house also demonstrated consistent participation across all grades, with students actively competing and showcasing their athletic abilities. Their performances reflected enthusiasm and commitment to sports.

VINOBHA HOUSE

Vinobha House showed strong representation in both Boys and Girls categories. Mohit secured Fourth Position in the Boys competition, while several students recorded valid jumps and contributed positively to the house's overall performance. The house displayed teamwork, perseverance, and a competitive spirit throughout the event.

RAMAN HOUSE

Raman House emerged as the strongest house in the Girls category by securing First and Second Positions through Siyara and Samhita Ranage respectively. The house also achieved success in the Boys category through Bhavish, who secured Third Position. Raman House's excellent performances highlighted its strength, consistency, and sporting excellence.

OUTSTANDING ATHLETES

BEST BOY ATHLETE

Siddharth S (Gandhi House, UKG) was recognized as the Best Boy Athlete for producing the longest jump of the competition with an outstanding distance of 1.19 metres. His exceptional performance demonstrated remarkable strength, coordination, and athletic ability.

BEST GIRL ATHLETE

Siyara (Raman House, LKG) was awarded the title of Best Girl Athlete for securing First Position with an impressive jump of 0.84 metres. Her outstanding performance reflected confidence, balance, and excellent athletic potential.

BEST HOUSE – GIRLS CATEGORY

Raman House was recognized as the Best House in the Girls Category for securing both First and Second Positions and consistently delivering exceptional performances throughout the competition.

MOST COMPETITIVE HOUSE – OVERALL

Raman House was awarded the title of Most Competitive House Overall due to its multiple podium finishes in both Boys and Girls events. The house displayed remarkable consistency, determination, and sporting spirit across all categories.

CONCLUSION

The Inter-House Long Jump Competition was a tremendous success and highlighted the athletic potential of the school's youngest learners. Students displayed courage, enthusiasm, determination, and excellent sportsmanship throughout the event. The competition encouraged children to develop confidence, physical fitness, coordination, and a love for sports while competing in a healthy and encouraging environment.
