INTRODUCTION
The Inter-House Zig Zag Race and Balloon Bursting Competition for CBSE Boys and Girls (Nursery, LKG & UKG) was successfully organized by the Department of Physical Education on 22 & 23 July 2026 (Wednesday & Thursday) as part of the Inter-House Sports and Games Programme for the academic year 2026–27. The championship witnessed enthusiastic participation from the four prestigious houses—Raman House, Gandhi House, Tagore House, and Vinobha House—with young learners competing in a spirit of enthusiasm, confidence, discipline, and sportsmanship.
The competitions were specially designed to introduce children to organized sports while developing their speed, agility, balance, coordination, concentration, confidence, and teamwork. Separate events were conducted for boys and girls, providing equal opportunities for every participant to showcase their abilities in a safe, enjoyable, and encouraging environment.
The event created an atmosphere of excitement and healthy competition, helping students build self-confidence and develop a positive attitude towards sports from an early age.
OBJECTIVES
The Inter-House Zig Zag Race and Balloon Bursting Competition was organized to:
Encourage active participation in sports from an early age.
Improve speed, agility, balance, and body coordination.
Develop concentration, confidence, and quick reflexes.
Promote teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
Foster healthy inter-house competition.
Identify and encourage young sporting talent for future competitions.
