INTRODUCTION

The Inter-House Football Competition for CBSE Boys (Classes IX–X) was successfully organized by the Department of Physical Education on 18 July 2026 (Saturday) as part of the Inter-House Sports and Games Programme for the academic year 2026–27. The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from the four prestigious houses—Tagore House, Gandhi House, Vinobha House, and Raman House—with students competing in a spirit of determination, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.

The competition was organized to promote physical fitness, leadership, teamwork, tactical awareness, discipline, confidence, communication, and sportsmanship among students. Throughout the tournament, participants demonstrated excellent ball control, accurate passing, defensive organization, attacking strategies, dribbling, and teamwork while displaying exceptional enthusiasm and commitment.

The championship provided an excellent platform for young footballers to showcase their sporting abilities, strengthen team spirit, and uphold the values of perseverance, unity, respect, and fair play.


OBJECTIVES

The Inter-House Football Competition was organized to:

  • Promote physical fitness and an active sporting lifestyle.

  • Develop teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.

  • Enhance football techniques, tactical awareness, and game strategies.

  • Encourage confidence, discipline, and decision-making.

  • Foster sportsmanship and healthy competition.

  • Strengthen unity and house spirit among students.

The championship witnessed enthusiastic participation from:

Students from Classes IX–X displayed exceptional football skills, including passing accuracy, dribbling, ball control, tackling, defensive coordination, attacking movements, positioning, and teamwork throughout the tournament.

Every match was played with discipline, determination, and competitive spirit, reflecting the students' dedication and passion for football.
