Introduction

The Inter-House Book Balancing and Sack Race Competitions for students of Classes I and II were successfully conducted on 20 June 2026 at SMT. Parvathamma Shamanur Shivashankarappa English Medium Residential School as part of the CBSE Inter-House Sports Programme 2026–27.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students representing Gandhi House, Raman House, Tagore House, and Vinobha House. The competitions aimed to develop physical fitness, balance, agility, concentration, coordination, confidence, and sportsmanship among young learners while providing them with an enjoyable competitive platform.

The atmosphere throughout the event was lively and energetic as students displayed remarkable enthusiasm, determination, and discipline. Every participant competed with confidence and upheld the true spirit of healthy competition, making the event a memorable success.


Book Balancing Competition

The Book Balancing Competition assessed the students' ability to maintain balance, body coordination, patience, and concentration while completing the course without dropping the book.
