Introduction

The Inter-House Book Balancing and Sack Race Competitions for Nursery, LKG, and UKG students were successfully conducted on 20 June 2026 under the CBSE Inter-House Sports Programme 2026–27 at SMT. Parvathamma Shamanur Shivashankarappa English Medium Residential School.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students representing Gandhi House, Raman House, Tagore House, and Vinobha House. Designed especially for the youngest learners, the competitions aimed to develop balance, agility, coordination, concentration, confidence, and physical fitness through fun-filled sporting activities.

The tiny athletes participated with remarkable enthusiasm and excitement, displaying confidence, determination, and excellent sportsmanship. The competitions not only encouraged healthy competition but also fostered teamwork, discipline, and self-belief among the students.

The Book Balancing Competition tested the participants' ability to maintain balance, concentration, and body coordination while completing the course with precision.
