Aims and objectives of our club forums
To foster and cultivateamplified learning and development opportunities for students by boosting and supporting them to contribute, navigate initiatives and direct their own projects.
To generate a sense of responsibility and ownership in the students for the actions they undertake.
To bring the members of the club together in a purposeful, mutually beneficial activities which promote greatest understanding and respect between themselves ;  and good citizenship so as to offer effective way to address issues important to our community.
To ensure / maintain highest ideals of our tradition-civic, cultural, social and moral welfare of the community.

Objectives : To inculcate scientific temper among the students by providing proper inspiration for the pursuit of scientific knowledge by broadening their scientific outlook and help discover the hidden talents in the students. To encourage individual and group activity; providing challenging opportunities to the gifted students by developing habits of exploration and creative faculties.
To develop among the students the spirit of attitude of healthy competition for individual and social cause.
To ensure prospects for bringing school closer to the society and accustom the society with services and aid of science in their lives.

This performing art includes: Mad Ads, Puppet Show & Mime Show. The objectives serve the purpose of:

To provide students to demonstrate and understand the theatrical basis of Art forms; to apply appropriate terminology to show aesthetic and critical awareness; seeking out new innovative methods of performing arts as well as retaining traditional practices; demonstrate proficiency in oral communication and to acquire and develop other dramaturgical skills. To enable students to develop interpersonal skills such as: confidence, social interaction, responsibility sharing, planning, decision making, teamwork and problem sharing. To learn importance of responsibility to their community.

Value of time, precision and competitiveness are the major learning points apart from communication, co-ordination and teamwork.

The club is organized to enhance the art offerings in the classroom and give further opportunities for the child to develop his artistic skills to the fullest which aims to produce and appreciate pieces of art.
To become aware of the beauty of God’s creation around us ; explore and experiment on this beauty for their art work.
To develop a deep and lasting enjoyment of art that carry over into adult life and exert a positive influence on Indian culture.

The club aims to nurture the talents in every child and provide a conducive environment for mutual learning.
We believe that each individual has something to offer and through mentorships jams, competitions and events. We strive to polish skills share knowledge and spread musical joy.
Music is the greatest gift of god, it refreshes our mind and body. It is the peace of life which refreshes each soul.

The main objective of Biospheres is to explore the physical realm of our environment through experiments and establish evidence.
To bring about awareness amongst children concerning theecological preservation and local environmental issues and instill ‘clean and green consciousness’ among students through various inventive methods.
To promote Eco-club students to take part in open-orientation programs at school and other public spaces.
To preserve diversity and amalgamation of animals, plants and micro-organisms; also to promote research on ecological conservancy and other environmental aspects.
To sensitize the students to minimize the usage of plastic bags, discouraging from discarding the plastic bags in public places as they choke drainage and sewers and cause water logging.

To achieve these goals students willbe trained to demonstrate exceptional commitment towards exhibiting their inner skills. Also to develop a multi-faceted physicality through training in various dance techniques.

The club is committed to provide a healthy sporting habit among the students. It helps to instill the spirit of teamwork, synchronization among different cultural and ethnic groups. It mainly inculcates discipline and moral values in an individual.

To create and foster a spirit of selfless service and empathyamongst the students to promote the principles of good governance and good citizenship.
To create interest to actively take part in the civic, cultural, social and moral welfare of the community.
These activities aim to offer a chance for students to contribute to the society, learning to have a positive attitude towards the life.

NCC and NSS have been introduced for students to develop character, discipline, Comradeship, build a secular outlook, spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service. NCC and NSSintend to organize, train and motivate students with leadership qualities, to take part in government led community serviceand exposes to life in defense. Also NCC provides an environment to motivate students to take up a career in defense with NCC special entry scheme into defense forces.

The aim of this club is to indoctrinate adoration among the students for various languages such as Sanskrit, Kannada, Hindi and English along withheightening of the literary skills in the respective languages. The club provides a platform for: Debating, Quiz, Pick and speak and Essay Writing.
To embolden students to transform into skilled orators, to display their intellectual and liberal thinking skills; and imbibe a sense of confidence.


Standard of any organization is depends on the quality collection of books it posses in its temple called library. Library is believed to be one of the strong pillars of any institution. We have a well equipped library with more than 11000 books in stock that imparts variety of knowledge. We at PSSEMRS library, believe that knowledge beyond classroom is quintessential to every child. We provide our students with such information which help them face the challenges of society with more vigor. We help them understand diversity of knowledge. We provide them with latest knowledge in each subject with Journals, magazines and news dailies. It enhances the knowledge level and that will certainly have a retrospective effect on the academics as well.


To encouragehealthy competition amongst students, students of PSSEMR School have been assigned one of the four houses which signify the school’s values. Students take pride of being a part of their respective assigned houses named after our freedom fighters and represent their houses in various competitions united as one team.

The four houses are named GANDHIANS – Yellow House,  RAMANIANS – Red House,  TAGORIANS – Blue House and VINOBHIANS – Green House, Houses are named after ourwell-known freedom fighters, scientists and intellectuals of this nation.

Each house is led by the House Master for a year. The Head boy and Head girl guide their teams on all fronts and play a vital role in leading their team to victory in all events. Taking part in various inter-house competitions provides the students an opportunity to showcase their talents and skills across various eventsand helps them learn importance of team work and selflessness. Be it a debate, quiz or sports event, students give their best to win competitions to gain points for their respective houses. Participation in various competitions brings laurels to their house and gives the students a sense of pride in competing as a team, teaching them valuable lessons of team work.

“Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Shine On”

The house is named after our Father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi. The Gandhiansare better known at PSSEMR as “YELLOW HOUSE” are a energetic, determined and spirited race. Led by a belief that they are more than just “an ordinary group of students”, they truly stand out. Yellow color signifies positivity and immense energy, they are a admirable example to the students of the school. Every Gandhian is indeed delighted to be part of a house that shines with the qualities of persistence, faith in one another and the ‘never give up’ attitude.

Students of the Yellow house are usually described as impeccable, par excellent, dependable, radiant, exquisite and spectacular.

“Essential. Limitless Potential”.

The house is named after well known scientist Sir C V Raman. Red is the symbol of bravery, selflessness and honor. Students of Red House arehardworking and committed at all times. They are inventive and self-motivated and this is the reason behind their success in various inter house competitions. The Ramanians are passionate towards their house, thereby upholding their standard always.
Students of Red house are known for their unity, and face challenges as a team. They are the jacks of all trades performing to the best of their abilities in sports and cultural events.

“A team above all, and above all a team”.

The house is named after a social reformer Acharya VinobhaBhave. The colour Green is indicative of elements like Mother Nature and life. The Vinobhians are always prepared and organized to compete to their fullest potential.

Students of the Green house are empathetic, affable and accountable. All the members are composed and good consistent performers in academics as well as sports. They derive their confidence and valor from the famous words of Acharya Vinobha himself to put up a tough competition against the rest of the houses

“Striving towards excellence with humility in our hearts”

House named after Noble laureate Rabindranath Tagore, who gave us the National Anthem.  The students of the Blue House, referred to as Tagorians are known for their highly intellectual skills, stability and unity, symbolizing the blue color.  They are dominant in many of the co-curricular activities, be it culturals or sports. Their greatest strength is their self-reliance and willpower.

Students of the Blue house possess enormous intellect. They are committed to their goals, and are all-rounders and highfliers. Though known for their intelligence, the Tagorians can summon immense courage in other fields as well, as competitionneeds.
